INSPIRATION FOR THE STORY
The idea for Family Kiss book was inspired by author, Ryan's three year old son, Wyatt. Wyatt experienced his first unexplained seizure earlier this year and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital and while awaiting test results the idea came to Ryan. Luckily, everything turned out good with Wyatt's test results and he is a healthy, vibrant little boy. However it was during this time the idea and the words began flowing. Ryan truly took a hard time for his family and turned it into something beautiful. The foundation for this story is love and the goal is to bring families closer together.
AUTHOR
Ryan Van Woerkom is a father of two, living in California with his wife, Chelsea. His day to day profession is a Quality Engineer but bringing people together is his passion. In his spare time, Ryan is a skateboarder, surfer, and runner with a goal to leave the world a little better than how he found it.
IllusTRATOR
Anastasiya Halionka was born and spent most her life in Belarus but now resides in the cozy town of Wroclaw, Poland with her family. She has been a children's illustrator for 5+ years. In addition to being a children's illustrator, Anastasiya has her law degree but her true passion lies with her amazing illustrations. In her words, "I am a fan of my business and have a great love for what I do."
